Give me some tips for running in the 8th lane for 300m hurdles?

Im running in the 8th lane for the 300m hurdles at state this year and I haven't performed well in the 8th lane in the past. Give me some tips, training strategies or links to help me out.

Thanks|||Get out fast.

It is the same distance in each lane, and your curve is much flatter so you can run faster than you would if you were in an inside lane.

If you run well you will never see anyone else in the race.

The hurdles require you to run your own race, you can not change your speed or pattern because of what someone else is doing.

Now you will run your race, no one is pulling you, concentrate on the hurdles.|||Well, remember that the runners in the other lanes are expecting to catch you on the turn. If you run a hard even pace for the first 100, some of them are going to start catching you. But, then you have to push really hard on the next 100, which will mentally crush your opponents. This is because they won't be catching up to you like they should, and this will cause them to slow down. From there you can ride the adrenaline rush the last 100 meters from being in the front of the pack. Good luck!|||it doesnt matter what lane your in. just work on streching and sprinting between hurdles.
