Is there a time penalty for knocking down the hurdles?

I was just watching some of the men's hurdles races and some of them knocked down the hurdles. Do they receive a time penalty or get disqualified ?|||No, but you you get disqualified if you use your hands to knock over a hurdle.|||yes, they could get DSQ'd if they use their hands and (i think) if the judges believe it was intentional....my friend is a hurdler, and he knows a way to do it that will make you faster, but the got DSQ'd, and he thinks the judges knew it was intentional (i didnt see him so idk if he used his hands)|||No penalty except hand but it definitely slow you down so if you knocked down a lot of the hurdle you probably will not do well in-the race or might even fall.|||no, i heard a long time ago there a guy who just knocked them all down because he couldn't jump them and he won everytime.|||no, but if they knock one down theyre basically slowing themselves down|||No there isn't a time penalty.. but when knocked down it tends to slow you down or may result in you falling..|||No. However it does slow you down.
