How many steps are between hurdles?

I did 100m hurdles in school, and when we would set up the hurdles, there were a certain amount of steps (steps being if you start with one foot, then put your other foot at the first foot's toe and continuing) between each hurdle. I think it was something like 46 steps to the first hurdle, then 32 between each hurdle after that. Or maybe it was 42 and 36...|||Depends how long your legs are. Your steps may be shorter.
