How do I practice hurdles, when I have no hurdle?

I need to practice my hurdlin, but I have no hurdles.|||if you live by a highschool or something you could call the person who owns it and see if you could use the ones there.

or you could just jump over boxes.|||Jump over tree branches and bars and benches trust me it helps|||i dont know|||get boxes and jump over them|||get a sawhorse....

if you don't know what i'm talking about by chance ask a carpenter in the family and they can very easily make you one...

it just a board straight across like a hurdle and on the end is like triangles with no bottoms...you can get them to make them high or low...|||just get things that you ccan put a stick on.:)|||Well, u could get boxes and jump over them. You could also jus over anything that u can jump over. Lol.|||hang a broom stick from a tree (horizantaly) with two strings and slowly raise it up every time you jump over it. i would recomend using string that is not particularly strong in case you get caught on the stick.|||DEFINITELY do not try to hurdle boxes, sawhorses or sticks or anything hard, as you could potentially hit it and hurt yourself. There are many drills you can perform to increase your hurdling ability that don't require actual hurdles..

I linked you to a page which contains a bucnh, all you need is a fence or something to hold on to, and you do the motions.

These will help strengthen your upper legs and hip flexors, which will make you a better hurdler.

I hurdle in college and do these drills every day. GOOD LUCK!
